Seine River First Nation is located in northwestern Ontario on Wild Potato Lake. Our Anishinaabe community is situated 1 km south of Horsecollar Junction on Highway 11, located 50 km west of Atikokan, with our land area encompassing approximately 17.58 square kilometers.
Seine River First Nation has a long history of good leadership and good governance that has always worked for the benefit of our members. Over the years, many Seine River First Nation members have come together to work for the success of our community. It is our connection to our culture as Anishinaabe that forms the root of who we are and how we walk in this world.
Our community is a member of the Pwi-di-goo-zing Ne-yaa-zhing Advisory Services and Grand Council Treaty #3. We provide various services to our community members including child and family services, health services, education, housing, and community care programs. Our administrative office is located at 37 Riverside Rd W.
We host the annual Seine River First Nation Traditional Powwow in July, bringing together families and visitors to celebrate our culture and heritage. Our community continues to prepare for the future while ensuring prosperity for generations of community members that will come after us.
